Glowing Bridal Makeup

using champagnes and golds to create a natural glowing vibe

When I receive a photo gallery from a wedding I’ve worked, I look through them and pick the best one or two photos that show off the makeup job I did. But, you know, sometimes it’s more fun to see the whole look together— how it all vibes together. Megan (the bride) was getting married at the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine, FL. Her color scheme was white, greenery, and gold- so, we brought in beautiful accents of champagne & gold for her makeup look, and the results were — if I do say so myself, stunning!

How to create Megan’s look:

1. Prep the skin with a radiance primer

2. Conceal under eyes and any red areas

3. Apply an oil-free tinted moisturizer and build only where needed

4. Airbrush foundation, contour, blush and highlight

5. Set with powder and layer w/contour, blush, and highlight powders

6. Apply cream shadows to create dimension and help hold powder. Apply powder eyeshadows, and then highlight inner corner and under brow

7. Apply tightline eyeliner and mascara

8. Apply lashes

9. Fill in brows

10. line lip and fill in with color; highlight with gloss in the center

Fall Color Trends

September is almost here! For weddings, that means transition time. We’ll still see timeless neutrals like champagnes, dusty sages, and golds, but we’ll also start to see Fall colors like burgundy, mulberry, and cabernet.

Fall Colors are coming!

what to wear with wines/berries

Wine’s and berries are fun to work with- notice the warmth that they still have— you can stay safe and go with classic bronzes and golds, or you could bring in some rosy-pink shades, Here are some of my favorite looks for Fall’s wines and berries:
